Body Horror

What is Body Horror?

This is where nothing is medically catastrophic, yet everything feels a little off. Think of it as a midlife autopsy performed while you’re still walking around, trying to remember why you even came to this blog in the first place...

Here you’ll find short articles about mitochondria, sleep, exercise, food, and middle‑aged body weirdness, written for people who’ve read the health advice, tried to follow it, and still woke up offended by gravity. The nonfiction (or fiction) stories are based on real science—hormones, metabolism, circadian rhythms, brain chemistry, you name it—but translated into the everyday language of creaking joints, zero patience, and mysteriously tighter jeans.

If all wellness blogs are usually quite smart and glossy, this blog is the unedited middle: it talks about where you fall off your routine, why you should argue with your own red blood cells, and how your sense of humor gets stronger with age.

This is made for people who genuinely want to take care of themselves (or become immortal?), but also reserve the right to complain and swear at their body as it slowly rebels.

Stay tuned!
